Spotlight wedding: Chriselle Lim

Today's spotlight wedding is yet another social media/ YouTube star.
Chriselle Lim had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at Greystone Manison
located in Beverly Hills, CA.

Her stunning four tier wedding cake stood beside gold decorated
cake pops and french macaroons for a gorgeous display.

If you followed her wedding series, you'd know that her wedding dress was
custom made. Gorgeous sweetheart neckline with lace details and no back, it is
one of my favorite wedding dresses!

She also posted a video of the big day on her channel. Here's the link:

Trending Tuesday: Strobing

One trend that you Bridal Beauties might have heard about is Strobing. Contrary to it's sister, contouring, Strobing works with the high points of your face to define it instead of the shadows and contours. If you love a glowy look, you might want to try this trend for your big day! There are multiple tutorials on YouTube but here is a picture below.

One of my favorite highlighters is the Tarte Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette $42

Wine corks are the usual go-to for vineyard wedding seating charts, but we think we love using wine bottles even more. Each bottle’s label features the guest names for one table, while also being used as a vase. @myweddingdotcom:

5. Last but not least, these gorgeous Geode escort cards will make your

Spotlight Wedding

One gorgeous wedding I have to mention is YouTuber Aspyn Ovard's wedding. Held last year in the beautiful state of Utah, Aspyn and her long term boyfriend Parker Ferris had a October wedding. Although it's summer, her wedding was just too beautiful I had to share.

They had an outdoor ceremony and reception filled with cute bohemian details that included a dream catcher at their alter.

Aspyn's dress is the Penelope Gown from BHLN retailing at $970 which she paired with a flower crown.

Even though her viewers couldn't be there, they could watch Aspyn's dreamy boho wedding on her YouTube channel.

Bridal Beauty Pick of the Day

Today's beauty essential for any busy bride is Setting Spray!
Setting / Finishing sprays work to keep your makeup in place throughout the day as well as extending the vibrancy of your makeup. Although there are overwhelming amounts of setting sprays in the market, there are few made especially for brides. Skindinavia's Bridal Finishing spray sells for $29 4oz.

Don't want to break the bank with a setting spray? A drug-store alternative is the NYX Matte setting spray, $8 for 2.02 oz
So whether you're scrambling to get the last details perfect for the big day, or dancing the night away, your makeup will stay flawless!

The Washingtonian, Jody and Benji

One of our weddings had the honor of being featured in the Washingtonian and we're so excited!

Jody and Benji's wedding was deemed "Pinterest-Perfect" by Caroline Cunningham of the Washingtonian on June 8. The picturesque rustic wedding featured a barn reception and sparkler finale.

The "All About the Benjamins" sign above the head of the table along with other personalized details made their rustic wedding one to remember.

Ivy Room in Chicago

If you happen to be living in Chicago, check out the The Ivy Room in Tree Studios, Chicago.

The interior holds up to 200 people for ceremony or reception and consists of standard hardwood floors along with French doors. The French doors surround the room and lead the way to the main attraction.

Covered top to bottom with Ivy, the courtyard looks like something out of a fairy tale.

Chicago's very own Garden of Eden holds up to 200 for ceremony and 50 for reception. Located in the center of downtown Chicago, it's city lights could light up your wedding!
