Did Someone Say Stella & Dot?

So, I have started a new venture... I recently (very recently) became a Stylist for the company, and couldn't be more excited. There are some really really great pieces, including my faves - the Jacinthe Bracelet, the Somervell Necklace, the Nancy Studs! All that I wear almost daily. Not to mention, the jewelry is great, but the purses are even greater! Who doesn't need the City Slim Diamond Raffia Cluth or the Metallic Pouf?! I have both in my display and love all the different prints and styles.
Since we're in the wedding biz, I make it a point to try and sell the bridal accessories. The Deco Earrings make for the perfect pair or the Daphne Pearl Necklace makes for a great statement piece.

Un-veiling beauty

Etsy is a great website to find the latest in all things wedding! I have found four of my favorite veils that are great this season. They add drama and show a statement of style and grace. Etsy is a great place for up and coming designers to sell some of their latest designs. The blusher (pic #1) and the veil with the peacock feather have to be my favorite. Choose a feather with your wedding colors and you're all set to go! These totally remind me of old Hollywood and the classy ensembles they used to don.

Cute Cake Toppers

I found these super cute cake toppers on that wonderful website www.etsy.com
Just type in cake toppers in their wedding search engine and youll be sure to find some "mini-yous" in the selection. I thought these were great and the second one even bears a slight resemblance to me and my boyfriend.. I'll be keeping that cake topper in mind for our big day!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!

I feel like its been awhile since my last post. So I need to catch up on some things!

Ok, so I'm loving the look for a wedding gown with bright colored shoes to match the themes of the wedding. I've found a lot of pictures that feature this new trend and hope you can get some inspiration...

My favorites are the last two pairs of shoes! I especially LOVE the J. Crew pair on the right =)

So if you're wondering where to get the perfect pair but don't have the Louboutin budget look to ebay or other online shoe stores such as zappos.com.
Last year my sister found her silver Sam Edelman flats on ebay for a great deal! She wore them with her ivory lace gown and it looked amazing, and to top it all of she was comfortable at the same time!


I love these last two shoes. I don't think I personally would have a blue wedding but for those shoes I would consider it!

Headpieces

I know its been around for quite sometime now but I think veils and headpieces are fabulous. The simplicity and the elegance the veils hold can make any bride look incredibly classy! There are different ways a bride can wear them. The veil can go over their eyes in a side sweep, it can be pulled back away from their face to cover only their hair, or it can be adorned with jewels and feathers to give it that extra flair. 

Your headpiece makes such a statement. If you choose to wear a classic veil, thats great, you can never really go wrong with a traditional veil (unless it's one from the 80's.. please stay away from those!!). I have seen many brides use their headpieces to show off their sense of style, straying away from the norm of a regular veil and putting pieces with rhinestones or flowers. I have found a few pictures on www.etsy.com. Etsy is a great website to find handcrafted items such as jewelry, bags, etc that are very unique and hard to find in stores!

I say that you should wear something that makes a statement and makes you stand out on your big day. You only get to do it once so why not pull out all the stops! And as you know, all eyes are on you..
